 Detailed correspondence between Sri Yantra and I Ching table

 

The 384 lines & broken lines in the I Ching table of 64 hexagrams correspond to the 384 yods surrounding the centre of the 3-dimensional Sri Yantra whose 43 triangles are tetractyses. The two intersecting triangles of three red or blue hexagonal yods in the central triangle correspond to the pair of Heaven trigrams in the top left-hand corner of the table. The 21 beige lines & broken lines in the diagonal correspond to the beige hexagonal yods at the centres of the 21 triangles in one half of the Sri Yantra. The 21 orange lines & broken lines correspond to the 21 orange, hexagonal yods in the 21 triangles in its other half. The 42 white lines & broken lines in the top row of hexagrams correspond to the white corners of triangles in the upper half of the Sri Yantra. The 42 black lines & broken lines in the first vertical column correspond to the 21 black corners of triangles in the lower half. The 21 purple trigrams and the 21 brown trigrams in the upper diagonal half of the table correspond to the 21 triangular arrays of purple hexagonal yods and to the 21 triangular arrays of brown hexagonal yods in the tetractyses in the upper half of the Sri Yantra. The 21 indigo trigrams and the 21 green trigrams in the lower diagonal half of the table correspond to the 21 triangular arrays of indigo hexagonal yods and to the 21 triangular arrays of green hexagonal yods in the tetractyses in the lower half of the Sri Yantra.
