  7 orders of spirillae

According to Besant & Leadbeater, each circular turn, or "1st-order spirilla," of a whorl is really a helix with seven smaller turns, or "2nd-order spirillae." This composition proceeds through 3rd-, 4th-, 5th- & 6th-order spirillae. Each of the seven 6th-order spirilla is a set of seven "bubbles in Koilon", arranged evenly along the circumference of a circle.

These orders of spirillae represent the winding of a string-like curve about the six circular dimensions of a 6-dimensional compact space called the 6-torus. Leadbeater claimed that the bubbles are spherical cavities or holes in some aether-like plenum that fills all space. The author's own investigations in 1992 with Ronald D. Cowen, a Canadian Buddhist who claims similar powers of micro-psi, established conclusively that the bubbles are actually tori. Leadbeater failed to notice a minute hole at two opposite ends of the bubble, creating the topology of a torus.

Bubble in electron

When Cowen focussed his micro-psi vision on an electron, which appeared to look somewhat like the UPA described by Besant & Leadbeater, although having some differences, he noticed, when he zoomed down to the level of the individual bubbles, that one end has a dimple, or depressed area (A). The diagram* opposite depicts his drawings of what he saw whilst in his altered state of consciousness. In its centre is a pinprick (B) surrounded by undulating patterns of energy (C) that looked like leaves of a flower. These currents flow in a closed circuit down over the surface of the bubble (E), returning to the top through a narrow, central core. The bubble is like a ring doughnut with a very small hole.

The top of the bubble (D & F) appeared dark and filled with concentrated energy. Below it was a region that looked foggy (G) and felt like an entrance to "a new kind of space." This is the higher-dimensional space predicted by string theory to exist beyond the 9-dimensional space predicted by superstring theory. These bubbles are 2-dimensional cross-sections of the higher-dimensional d-brane whose cross-section in this 9-dimensional hyperplane is the superstring/UPA.
