Tetrad representation of 496

 square representations of 84

496, which is the dimension of both E8×E8 and SO(32), the two possible gauge symmetry groups describing the unified superstring force that is free of quantum anomalies, is both the gematria number value of Malkuth (see the table here) and the number of particles that transmit this force. It is the sum of the cubes of the first four odd integers: 1, 3, 5 & 7. This sum can be written as the sum of 16 squares of these odd integers, where 16 = 42. It is a beautiful illustration of the Tetrad Principle (formulated in Article 1) governing holistic systems such as superstrings.

The Cosmic Tree of Life (CTOL) described in Maps of reality/Cosmic Tree of Life consists of 91 overlapping Trees of Life. The 7-tree maps the lowest plane of consciousness — the physical plane (what physics calls the space-time continuum). Above this Malkuth level of CTOL are 84 Trees of Life, where 84 = 12 + 32 + 52 + 72. This number is the sum of a square array of the first four odd integers. The Tetrad expresses through the square not only the crucial dimension 496 of a gauge symmetry group free of quantum anomalies but also the position in CTOL of the 7-tree representing its space-time sector in which superstrings exist whose unified forces are described by this group. In terms of the Cosmic Tetractys, the 7-tree corresponds to the seven 1st-order tetractyses at its centre. They correspond to Malkuth in terms of the formal analogy between the Sephiroth of the Tree of Life and the yods of the tetractys); the 84 Trees above the 7-tree correspond to the 84 1st-order tetractyses surrounding these seven tetractyses. They correspond to the six Sephiroth of Construction above Malkuth.
